21st Century Community Learning Center

Pueblo PreK-8 is proud to offer a 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) program that supports our students and families beyond the regular school day.

The 21st CCLC program is federally funded and provides students with safe, engaging, and enriching learning opportunities outside of normal school hours. At Pueblo, this program offers after-school and summer learning experiences where students can receive academic support, participate in enrichment activities, and explore their interests in a positive and supportive environment.

Through the 21st CCLC program, students may participate in:

  • Academic support and tutoring that often happens through fun, hands-on activities. This is sometimes called “disguised learning,” because students build skills in reading, writing, math, and problem-solving while working on interactive projects, games, and enrichment activities.

  • Enrichment opportunities such as STEM activities, art, physical fitness, and other hands-on learning experiences.

  • Social-emotional learning and leadership opportunities that help students build confidence, teamwork, and communication skills.

  • A safe and structured environment where students can continue learning and growing after the school day ends.

In addition to supporting students, the 21st CCLC program may also offer family engagement events, workshops, and activities that help families stay connected to their child’s education.

Our goal is to give students access to high-quality learning experiences that support the school day and help prepare them for future success.
