Aspire Preparatory at Pueblo provides a dynamic middle school experience where students are challenged academically, develop leadership skills, and explore their interests while preparing for success in high school and beyond.
Pueblo Elementary School is one of only two PreK–8 campuses in the Crane Elementary School District, allowing students to grow within a supportive school community from their earliest years through middle school. This structure helps students build strong relationships with teachers and peers while developing the confidence and skills needed for the transition to high school.
Aspire Prep serves students in 6th through 8th grade and provides a learning environment where students are encouraged to take ownership of their learning, think critically, and work collaboratively. Leadership and Community
A key part of Aspire Prep is helping students grow as leaders and responsible members of their community.
Students participate in Student Council, leadership opportunities, and school activities that help build school pride and strengthen our school culture. Aspire Prep students are also expected to complete community service hours, helping them develop a sense of responsibility, empathy, and connection to their community.
8th grade students may also participate in Panther Court, a student-led program that focuses on accountability and problem-solving. In Panther Court, trained students help their peers reflect on choices and repair harm through restorative conversations and solutions that strengthen the school community.

Students begin and end their day with Aspire Prep mini-courses, where they explore unique topics and develop new skills. These short courses make learning creative, interactive, and engaging while allowing students to discover new interests.

A Day in the Life of an Aspire Prep Student
A typical day for an Aspire Prep student includes a balance of academic learning, collaboration, leadership opportunities, and enrichment experiences.
Students begin and end their day with Aspire Prep mini-courses, where they explore creative topics and develop new skills. During the academic portion of the day, students participate in core classes such as Math, English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies.
Teachers use collaborative strategies like Kagan Cooperative Learning and technology integration to keep students actively engaged in their learning. Throughout the day, students work both independently and in teams, developing important skills such as critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving.
Students may also participate in leadership opportunities, community service projects, and school activities that help build responsibility and school pride.
